External initiatives in support of the Foundation

Many Quebecers express their commitment to beating breast cancer by organizing fundraisers to benefit the Foundation.

No matter how much you raise, every cent sustains hope for a future without breast cancer.

The Foundation launched the Circle of Friends with the aim of giving a creative boost to organizers of outside events.

Survey on needs of people touched by breast cancer

The Foundation has always been concerned about the needs of people touched by breast cancer, including both patients and their loved ones. We have retained Jolicoeur et Associés to conduct a major telephone survey which will help us learn more about these needs in order to improve the quality and

number of services throughout Quebec. The telephone interviews will take approximately ten minutes and participants will be contacted sometime during August or September. Thank you for helping us help you

MUHC to house the Quebec Breast cancer Foundation Lymphedema Support Centre

The Foundation is pleased to announce that we will be providing $1.5 million for the creation of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation Lymphedema Support Centre , to be located near the MUHC’s new Glen campus.

The centre will provide essential services to anyone in Canada affected by this little-understood condition, regardless of the type of cancer involved.
