CIBC has been the title sponsor of the CIBC Run for the Cure of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, organized in collaboration with the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.

CIBC Run for the Cure is the most important fundraising activity for the CIBC employees. This is the largest fundraising event for breast cancer research in Canada. In 2010, on 60 Canadian sites, over 170,000 people raised morethan $33 million for the cause.

During this event, CIBC offers to the Foundation free of charge marketing and public relations services as well as promotional material and banking services.

The Foundation wishes to extend their warmest thanks to CIBC management and all its employees for their exceptional commitment and their tremendous devotion towards the cause of breast cancer.
