Louise Brisebois

I took to the sea, but I was not equipped to deal with bad weather. Life’s ups and downs and the recurring waves of stress ended up undermining my ship. Then, one day, I felt a violent jolt. I had just struck an iceberg called “breast cancer.” The stopover was difficult but ever so useful. I realized that I was sailing in the wrong direction, so I changed course. I can finally see a ray of sunshine on the horizon. The storm has finally let up.

My name is Louise Brisebois and I am a breast cancer survivor.
