Ogilvy en rose 2009

Close to $300,000 raised for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation
Over 2,500 people were gathered for the fourth edition of the Ogilvy en rose evening, a unique event benefiting the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, which raised a total sum of close to $300,000. This amount will support the Foundation directly by contributing to funding breast cancer research, promoting breast health through education and awareness, as well as supporting people affected by the disease. These three components are essential to the pursuit of the Foundation’s vision: a life without breast cancer.
“With the holiday season upon us, La Maison Ogilvy is proud to once again open its doors, for a fourth consecutive year, to invite Greater Montreal to this unique event. Through this evening, which has become unmissable, we can concretely support the mission of the Foundation, a cause which we feel very strongly about”, states Bernard Paré, President of La Maison Ogilvy.
“The fight against breast cancer must be led together. An evening such as Ogilvy en rose reminds us of the importance of celebrating Life. The breast cancer survival rate is increasing each year. The money raised this evening will help further progress. And this progress is possible thanks to the development of better treatments, to early screening of the disease and to advancement in research”, explains Suzanne LeBreux, Executive Director of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
For this occasion, numerous artists joined together for an exclusive fashion show. Anne-Marie Withenshaw, Chantal Fontaine, Emilie Heymans, Esther Bégin, Florence K, Geneviève Guérard, Marie-Josée Taillefer, Sylvie Moreau, Virginie Coosa, Jennifer Campbell, Sébastien Benoit, Stéphane Quintal and Todd van der Heyden became models for the evening, whereas Marina Orsini hosted the show brilliantly and Abeille Gélinas took charge of electrifying the evening with her rhythmical music.
Finally, it is important to note that Ogilvy en rose took place under the co-chairmanship of Suzanne Côté, Senior Partner and head of the Litigation Group at Stikeman Elliott, and Isabelle Perras, Vice-President and General Manager of Optimum Public Relations.
