Organize an Event

The concepts and budget of all initiatives must be approved by the Foundation before they are publicized or held. Because of the popularity of the Circle of Friends, you should expect a delay of ten days between the time you propose your project and the time we answer.

Submit a project

All you have to do is complete the online event proposal form.

You can also download the event proposal form, complete it and send it to the Foundation. Fax it to us at 514 871-9797 or mail it to the following address:

Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation

1155, René-Lévesque W., suite 1705
Montréal (QC) H3B 3Z7

A successful event depends on good planning. Here are a few tips:

Plan Your Event Well

Date of your event

Don’t be caught unaware! Look at a calendar of events for your area, city or neighborhood before choosing a date. This will avoid holding an activity at the same time as another similar event.

Loan of materials

It is important to use the Foundation’s official visuals.

Here is a list of the items available to you (please note that quantities are limited):

  • pink fabric pins of the breast cancer symbol;
  • pink enamel pins for sale (as per availability);
  • pink silicone bracelets;
  • decorative Foundation banner for receptions;
  • donation boxes;
  • Foundation’s brochures and leaflets (as per availability).

Important Details

The Foundation will not apply for liquor or raffle permits from the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ) for external initiatives. You must ensure that the location you wish to use has the appropriate permits.

Budget

For most external initiatives, the Foundation reserves the right to request a budget before approving a project. Please note that guarantees for amounts raised may be required, especially when it comes to proposals for shows .

Thank you for using this deposit form when remitting cash to the Foundation

Income tax receipts

Current regulation: provincial law regulating the income tax receipts may be subjected to particularities. In order to avoid any inaccuracies, please read the section on income tax receipts of the Government of Canada on charity donations.

As a registered charity, the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation qualifies for this tax credit.

Postings, visuals and advertising

Before the event is publicized or help, the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation shall approve the related proposal as well as any use of its name and logo.
