Live from the Montreal Forum on May 26 was the grand finale of the fourth edition of Osez le donner, RockDétente’s annual solidarity operation, for which one dollar was donated to the Foundation for each bra received. With the commitment of Wonderbra and the immense generosity of RockDétente listeners who gave their bras or made spontaneous donations, this unprecedented spirit of solidarity raised $165,250. Since 2008, more than $565,000 were raised through this unusual drive.

The donation of the cheque for $165,250 took place before an audience who came to admire the unveiling of a giant bra sculpture entirely made up of bras collected in recent weeks. On behalf of listeners, Audrey Faucher, Brand Manager for Wonderbra, and Johanne Cloutier, Content Director for 107,3 RockDétente, submitted the cheque to Suzanne LeBreux, General Manager of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. The Ma radio au boulot show with Catherine Magny, accompanied for the occasion by Joël Legendre, was broadcast live from the Montreal Forum from noon to 1:00PM. In addition, Belgian singer Milow gave a special live performance for RockDétente listeners.

The general public is invited to come admire the giant bra sculpture until Sunday, May 29, at the Montreal Forum, located at the corner of Atwater and Sainte-Catherine Street West. The bras collected as part of the Osez le donner operation will then be offered to Renaissance, while the non-reusable bras will be given to Certex
