Patricia Claude
“That’s impossible! Not me! I’m way too young!” That’s what was going through my mind when I was given the shocking news.
I had just turned 28 and I was already picturing myself dead and buried. I underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery on both breasts. I was more frightened than hurt and the results are impressive!
This experience made me see life differently; now I appreciate each moment and I love and accept myself just as I am. And as my spouse says, “You chose LIFE, and that’s worth all the breasts in the world!”.
My name is Patricia Claude and I am a breast cancer survivor.
